Anyone traveled to Canary Islands in November-December? Did you like it?
What island is your favorite? I am choosing between Tenerife and Gran Canaria at the moment.
My wife also wants to do a one week cruise and even contacted norwegian cruise line customer service here already. Not sure if i like her idea a lot. What would you choose guys in this case?

Off to Barcelona for a mini three day break on Monday.
Any advice well received.
And no I don’t track back !!!
Bill has mentioned two that are definitely worth doing - Parc Guell and Sagrada Familia.

With the Sagrada Familia, it's definitely worth paying to go inside - the stained glass windows and the light inside is absolutely stunning. However, we also paid extra to go up one of the towers, and being honest, I didn't think this was worth it.

Another area that is worth visiting is Montjuic. If you go to the Place d'Espanya, you can walk/take the escalators up to the museum, which is a beautiful walk in itself (we've never been inside the museum), and 5-minutes round the back is the Olympic Stadium which is free to walk into. Then further on up are the cable cars and Montjuic Castle - this is a really good way to spend half a day - the views from the top of the castle over Barcelona are superb.

Also, the old town is good for wandering - plenty of old-style labyrinth-type streets.

Have a great weekend - Barcelona is one of the best cities I've visited.

The museum is well worth a visit and at the bottom of the steps almost is Plaza de Toros Monumental. Originally a bullring now a shopping centre but for a few euros you can take a lift to the top of the building. An amazing panoramic view of the city from there

We did Lanzarote (Playa Blanca) last Dec/January ….there for New Year. Weather was fantastic (22 degrees) which apparently was quite unusual

Was brill watching the win away at Arsenal with last minute from Rodri in some Irish bar

Unusual? Been January and December and it was in the 20s. In December didn't even need a jumper at night.

Been to gran canaria puerto rico was nice but wasn't keen on the bars and restaurants being in a commercial centre. Usually go to PDC in Lanzarote. Plenty of choice there.

Done ‘La Palma’ one February, depends what you want really, pretty laid back back and quiet, Santa Cruz is pretty nice.

In ‘Side’, Turkey atm, about an hour from Antalya, hotel and resort pretty much what I expected ( one or two dippers letting everyone know they’re dippers, one or two cockneys ‘givin it large haha) the beach and the old town are really real nice, we’ll presented, ruins well preserved and a very pleasant walk around.
