Please name me five who have said they want the club to fail, and some quotes to back it up would be nice.
In your own time...

I was a Mancini INNER but NEVER want my club to fail. I thank Mancini but the club AND FANS have to move on.

Support the fucking club or do one. (That's about as holistic as I get)

I too was an 'inner', but as a lifelong supporter I will obviously get behind whoever is appointed, because I want the club to be successful.
That's why I asked our friend Ontario for clarification, because I haven't seen a single post, be it from an 'inner', an 'outer', or a 'shake-it-all-abouter' to suggest that anyone wishes the club to fail to prove some obscure point.
Personally, I would quite like to see a HollyWilloughby approach.

me too....more on that please.

Two up front?

Onwards and Upwards, Club over manager, Love what Mancini did for the club to get success back to MCFC. I will never forget the QPR match or the FA Cup Win, but if players are not responding to the manager a new voice is necessary to push the players and club forward.

Fucking "Holistic approach"!!!

Absolute fucking disgrace. "Holistic approach" translated means Txiki picks the formations, the players and the manager.

Mancini refused to be his puppet and got the bullet. Now enter some sap, probably "people's person" Pelligrini who puts out the cones and is called a head coach.

Absolutely disgusted at the club.

Yet another knee jerk reaction by Shaelumstash...

I take it that you see Mancini as completely blameless?

No I actually don't think he's blameless. And I don't think the board are blameless either.

As I've said on other threads, my personal opinion is that the manager is the most important person at the club. The new strategy appears to place that responsibility with the DoF.

I don't agree with it, but I sincerely hope it works because I only want the best for the club.

Can someone tell me why sack him today(maybe last night Monday) when we have two games left in this season?.
It is not as if we have anyone ready to take over.I think this has been handled very badly. The sharks(Press) have been in a feeding frenzy for days. He had no chance with no support from the PR at the club.
OK – so the board want him gone but they should have left it till after the Norwich game. Then the fans – who would have sussed it out – could have given him our thanks out in the stadium.
Also what does the club statement mean -”a holistic approach”???/
This is very poor -CITY. What a load of management speak.

You can't continue on with this nonsense for 2 more games. I assume they wanted to keep it under raps until the end of the season but it got leaked. The media would have been unbearable if they hadn't. Either the club would have had to continue saying nothing or flat out lie, in which case the media would take little time to prove it and would make this situation even worse (see the Rooney situation). Last 2 games mean nothing anyway.

My interpritation of "A holistic appreach". We lacked goals this season so instead of just buying a couple of new strikers who are more clinical to "fix" the problem they are going to make changes to the manager, staff, philosolphy, tactics, players, game preperation, etc... to get the best out of the players and create more scoring opertunities etc.. I wish they would have just come out and said that instead of this silly hippy sounding concept.

I don't see the big deal in the use of the word. We want someone who will get more than the sum of parts of the players, will buy into the academy side of things and not throw the board and management (let alone players) under the bus at every other press conference. I think that's a perfectly reasonable ask.

Putting Mancini on blast like that wouldn't be particularly classy.

None of it's been classy, they could at least be straight with us. That's what they mean, it's not classier because they've used a few words instead of a couple of sentences.

We decided he wasn't the man for the job and went about replacing him. No need to list in the press release all of the reasons for doing so. If they did that no doubt there would be a thread saying it was out of order.
So what if there was> it was out of order by the club to allow this shit to spread, not bothered by Mancini being gone, but the manner in which it happened is disgraceful. There is already plenty of threads saying the same
