Holistic approach

If the 'holistic approach' is to be followed this means that the Cheeky Boys will be running everything. The new manager won't be a manager at all, he'll just be the head coach. He'll have minimal to nil input into signings and he'll just be given a squad and told to coach it to win trophies.
Completely agree

and when they fuck up they'll sack the manager and get another fall guy in to replace him
Laughable isn't it. The people who have been accusing "outers" of wanting us to lose so they could gloat, are now, erm, hoping we screw up so they can gloat. YCNMIU.

Now you can see here real fans and people who deep down want City to fail because they are here only because one player or Mancini or whatever

Please name me five who have said they want the club to fail, and some quotes to back it up would be nice.

It's very easy to be a gloater, but I think what we see here is more a genuine disappointment that City seem to have again sacrificed stability and proven potential in pursuit of a quick fix. It's a pattern many of us long term supporters, and that includes you of course, are all too familiar with.

As supporters, we are here whatever and often we are the only ones with the long term view. I don't think accusing anybody of hypocrisy at this stage is really necessary.

Speak for yourself. I'm commenting on the way that this board of directors conducts their business not what I hope for City moving forward. I never want City to lose unlike some of the well known Mancini outers on this forum.

I for one hope the new manager whoever he is succeeds of course as that means City will build on the trophy base that Bobby has put in place. I have serious doubts about Pellegrini but hopefully he will prove me wrong.

i fear for him if he doesn't deliver sharpish though.

And I'd rather Bobby was still our manager. Judging from the poll on here yesterday the majority agree. The club has the right to sack the manager. We have the right to make our opinions known.

Roll on fantastic world class signings in the close season and a league winning campaign again next season :-)

I happen to think we've sacrificed someone who had great short term success but would have torn us apart if left in place for very much longer. As a long term fan of the club, I'm desperate to see us pulling in the same direction with a professional approach across the whole organisation. It's something we've had only too rarely in the last 40-odd years.

Nothing is certain in football but I think we've got an exciting future to look forward to.

I was a Mancini INNER but NEVER want my club to fail. I thank Mancini but the club AND FANS have to move on.

Support the fucking club or do one. (That's about as holistic as I get)

I too was an 'inner', but as a lifelong supporter I will obviously get behind whoever is appointed, because I want the club to be successful.
That's why I asked our friend Ontario for clarification, because I haven't seen a single post, be it from an 'inner', an 'outer', or a 'shake-it-all-abouter' to suggest that anyone wishes the club to fail to prove some obscure point.
Personally, I would quite like to see a HollyWilloughby approach.

Well said Stokie, there'll be less mistakes made with our club from now on but I don't give two hoots what other fans or media think of us. I don't think Seriano or Berigstain do either they know what the Sheikh wants and they know how to get it for him. I will support the team and club as much as I can and if we have to break a few eggs along the way to make the big "holistic" omelette then so be it.
