Home end for Stoke

been sat in the stretford end at 2 derbies and the main stand for another,been in kemlin rd stand at anfield,been right in the middle of sheff utd's kop on my bill,been in with everton fans as well....but fuck sitting in stokes end,they are proper old fashioned fans and i would fully expect a leathering. 1-1 for me and us in the replay.
 
Yeah i was once in the home end at Sheffield United in the kop.Never again you just cant enjoy the match.
 
was in the holte end at villa in 1977? when dennis scored a hat trick in a 4-1 win...seem to remember city fans singing "villa park is burning down" when a floodlight started to smoke/overheat
 
If you want to be there I say go for it. As long as you keep your mouth shut and don't jump up WHEN we score you'll be fine. The problem is if they score you have to stand up and clap which is horrible.

I've done it as Leeds, Sheffield Utd, Wigan, Oldham, Stockport and Utd loads of times. Can be a laugh though at times I remember a Utd fan at half time proper slagging Richard Dunne off in the toilets to me when we were 2 nil up at the 50th anniversary game I just went along with him just to see what rubbish he came out with next.
 
I was once at a corporate at Leeds and City got level with Leeds and i went crackers .The natives went mad and i quickly got myself back in the corporate box what a relief that was.We were 2-0 down and then came back to 2-2.We lost 3-2
 
After reading all of this. Think I'll pass going in the Stoke end. Might just go down with out a ticket or hope to get a spare this week
 
hehe .....

never mind Stoke , i went on the Gallowgate terrace at Newcastle , and the Shed End at Chelsea , both in the 70's when hooligans were ten a penny ......

now they WERE experiences !

I don't think it will be as bad as people say it is.
 
don't imagine it will be that bad! - just use some common sense and sure you be ok bud.. i.e don't start singing blue moon before kick off and unfortunately if they do score stand and make it look like your clapping! - although if its anything like city, you may get some random guy try and hug you if they score :S
