- Although from what i understand parking near the ground is utter shite!

is this true?

been told there are quite a few parking places round the ground

When i last went a mate who drove up told me everywhere he tried to park had a parking company notice saying you'd be towed away etc and its private land and all that bollocks..

come off main road to small island next to ground, turn left and we found a big industrial building which was a fiver for the league game this year, more blues in there than stoke,

did take about an hour to get bloody moving after though, but i had beer in hand by then so didnt really mind!

Yeah, that's the problem along there. There are loads of places to park, but there's only the one road, so you either have to drive back past the ground or go the opposite way and do a big circle back past Trentham Gardens. Either way, you can end up sat there stationary for ages.

Is stoke away really that bad?
No. Nowhere is anymore.

You've seen how sanitised and family orientated it is at City recently, and i go on other clubs forums quite a lot and i've seen Arsenal Villa Birmingham and Sunderland say the Etihad and City fans are the worst in the Prem.

Many Blues (including my father) have been in the home end at Old Trafford over the years and if you can make it through a derby you'll make it at Stoke; just don't be a dick.

Been in a few home ends and the most i've had grief with was from the lower league clubs. Grimsby away was hairy, Got a smack from behind in the Cheadle end at County after Jamie Pollock scored for us. Bristol Rovers was full of nutters. Leicester at Filbert Street i was behind the goal at the back of the stand with City fans to my right. Wanchope scored and it was kicking off below me with other blues in there end. Luckily because I was at the back I got away with it. Sheff United in there main stand was dodgy, tried getting a pint at half time and got sussed out with my accent but said I was from Glossop and always been a blades fan.

Blades in Glossop? I''m from there and only klnown one (he was from Sheffield orignally).

Glossop is a CITY town...and proud of it.

If you go then the John Smiths Upper will be OK.
Do not go into the Boothen End.
We were fighting amonst ourselves the other week !
If (when) you score you will either have to sit still & be quiet or it will kick off.

Lets just hope it's a proper FA Cup tie & the best team wins on the day.

Cheers
