14 games unbeaten.I went that day, we were on a run of not being beaten in a number of games, it was a bit of a shock result.

It’s only empty because the occupants are away. They start an argument in an empty house as well.
Yes on a frozen pitch, undersoil heating went in following year, also 2 days after good win and day out at Leeds Kidd got both goals.Drawing 1-1 at Maine Rd with the 89th minute Watson own goal also a real blow.
I remember that one wellSwindon away in ´87 was quite a day. I travelled up from Pompey as I was studying there; arrived at the ground to be told ticket-only and none available. It was absolutely pissing down, eventually they opened up a side paddock, we won 4-3 but City were everywhere in their stand and brawling broke out every time we scored. Waiting for the train later running battles outside the station, on the platform. IIRC some of their fans came badly unstuck when targeting a City transit van, not knowing who was in it - it wasn´t full of students heading back to Pompey.
Yes I went to that game away as well. Went down from town overnight and ended up in Bristol City centre around 7/8 am.I went that day, we were on a run of not being beaten in a number of games, it was a bit of a shock result.
Me to the king's Arms Cricklade pre match drink same pub for the New year s Eve game 1988 dropped the beer there and picked it up on the way home dropped in Piccadilly about 9 p m straight to the local ,thinking back to the 87 trip the Stewart s coach was struggling up a winding hill and a low loader with a steam train on the back overtook us!I remember that one well
Went with Potters Mob from Denton, somehow the coach made it there and back lol
