Anyone remember tho the pre season game at Burnden Park - 88/89 i think. Scrapping all the way back to the train station - non stop, like an ongoing Roman tortoise formation . Great, but mental.

Spent all day in the civilised surroundings of a quaint pub watching Australia serenely stroll to 300-0 against England and then straight into a reenactment of Football Factory for the evenings entertainment.
