Spot on,plus the red ball.I do, sure it was a replay. Royle scored. I went on the special.
We had a lucky escape after the match in a Chesterfield boozerI got started on by a couple of feral, inbred 12 year olds by an ice cream van outside Saltergate in Chesterfield. Ended up with several busted ribs.
From laughing at them.
AgreedA few comments about WBA away.
Always found The Baggies to be the most "normal" fans in the West Midlands .
Never had anything but a friendly welcome at The Hawthorns.
Anyone been to the scruffy Pub behind the Away End (10 minute walk) run by Asians ?
Scruffy as feck, but a good bunch of home fans go in there and always had a good bit of chat in there...
It always surprises me that the Hawthorns is the highest ground above sea level in the country. They get a lot of snow on West Bromwich.Do you remember West Brom away in cup think that was 77,1-0 win snowing like fuck.
Blimey never knew that. Would have gone for Carlisle or Leeds. It always surprises me that the Hawthorns is the highest ground above sea level in the country. They get a lot of snow on West Bromwich.
And Boundary Park is the 2nd highest if I remember correctly. It always surprises me that the Hawthorns is the highest ground above sea level in the country. They get a lot of snow on West Bromwich.
And much (much!!) colder is Boundary 'Ice Station Zebra' Park.....And Boundary Park is the 2nd highest if I remember correctly.
Another strange statistic about the Hawthorns , before that bastard Heath destroyed our wonderful historic county's in 1971 West Brom was in three county's. Think it had two corner flags in Staffs and one each in Warwickshire and Worcestershire. Call it all the West Midlands now. I believe the ground is actually in Birmingham not West Bromwich like OT is not officially in Manchester. It always surprises me that the Hawthorns is the highest ground above sea level in the country. They get a lot of snow on West Bromwich.
