Maybe a few undeservedly did have a sad life on a domestic home front and up an upbringing which some of us luckily escaped but they found a bond with others and this replaced certain things in there lives. if you like I have taken time to read some of their life stories as to what brought them into the things that we’re discussing then you might take a different perspective. It’s not about toughness it’s about a certain era that many of us witnessed or was involved in .
In the 80s & 90s at a fair few away games I was glad we had them .
it’s not pathetic either nobody is glorifying violence it’s just stories as it was at the time.

Was flicking through some hoolie book by a cockney red at the weekend trying to kill some time and this guy was describing events at the FA semi. He must have the same ghost writer as the Stoke guy. Apparently we were all beat up at every service station on the way down by the rags. Funny that as we saw literally one coach all the way down and that was after Northampton and hardly any cars so not sure who was fighting. Then the rags ran us all over Wembley, before and after the game but he then admitted he knew our 'main mob' were drinking on Watford. Jackanory from start to finish

They got absolutely splattered AOTS At Warwick and Stafford services post match after accounts and footage of them attacking scarfers and kids on Wembley Way started to emerge
