I've been told that the deal should have been complete by now but obviously Kaka and AC Milan as disrupted it quite a bit. The transfer should be done before Thursday.

I hope so, him and Kompany in the middle will give us a lot more stablility.

Confirmed bid on Granada Reports

The clubs have agreed on a fee days ago. Now it looks like de Jong is trying to get as much dough out of this as possible. And since yesterday evening, he's in an even better position. He was supposed to have his medical today, but apparently it didn't happen.

Not a day for footy news really with whats going on in Washington, plus maybe GC has been given a day off to recover from yesterday. Tomorrow or Thursday would be nice, Shay Given on Friday would be even better.
