Hopes for the rest of the season

I can only go of our current form, and even though our CL group campaign was easy, we will now be playing teams that know how to attack

So based of our current situation we will probably end up with a domestic cup win

I honestly dont think Laporte coming back when ready will steady the ship like everyone thinks it will - he does not have an adequate
partner alongside him
 
I would like to see the blueprint for a rebuild now.

Play more of the kids
Foden as a first team regular
Drop this absurd CB pairing of Fern and move him back into DM

Fuck the rest of the competitions, focus on changing our game style and be ready for next season
 
I don’t really have any expectations as this season hasn’t felt right at any point. We have a squad that seemingly is running on empty and no-one is anywhere near top form. It looks like key players have been allowed to go on too long with no adequate replacements to slot in.

There also seems to be a mentality issue currently as we tend to give up when it’s not going our way (which it hasn’t been in a large proportion of games).

So more in hope than expectation I’d like us to give the CL everything even though I can’t see us winning it, ensure a top four finish and win at least one domestic cup.

I also expect the start of a major rebuild in the summer but I can’t see that being completed in one window.
 
Hate to say it, but think we will end up with nothing this season. Something isn’t right and defensively we are a shambles.
When teams come forward, we are like rabbits in the headlights coupled with a crazy keeper who does wtf he wants, it’s a recipe for disaster.
RM will fist us in CL, which is what I was excepting.
FA Cup, rags will be laughing at our last few games and know we are there for the taking.
CC, see if we can get past Port Vale

If we slip outside top 4 it will be a disaster.
 
Last Saturday we play the best game this season and come bake from 1-0 down , last night we score twice with 10 men and fight till 8 minutes to only awful mistake by Mendy
I’m looking forward and thinking that team can win the Madrid 2 games and that is big massage to last 8
Our squad with the important key players who back
Can do a good 3 months in oll competitions
Just believe in pep and the team

Pretty much the way I see it.
 
I think a League Cup and an FA Cup, finishing runners-up in the Prem.

The Champions League is such a lottery, the teams left are of a quality that a crazy five-minute spell can be the finest of margins.

I also expect us to beat Liverpool at home again.
