Kevin and Bernardo both play on the right Side, Aouar plays on the left side, Foden can play both sides.
Gundogan is awful as an 8 and and just alright as a 6.
Unless he wants to spend most of his time on the bench, like in the first part of the 18/19 season, he will be sold.
Pep is definitely biased toward Gundogan, it's pretty much his adopted son at this rate. Gundogan is very smart and great technically, but he has nowhere near the required intensity and physicality for the PL. Hopefully Pep realises this. Europe Gundog is a different breed, he's not suited for PLhopefully gundogan will be sold - flattered to deciece - maybe cause of the injury but thats football - he aint suited to this league and doesnt have the intensity needed -

However he definitely needs to be shielded by his teammates because he can't defend counters. Looks great. Maybe time to slowly integrate Doyle and Bernanbe at the 8 positions as well like we did with Foden. I think Bernardo left and KDB right has potential as well, we become a lot more direct in attack with Rodri and Gundogan more than capable of dictating tempo from deep between the CB'sFernandinho won’t be playing midfield and will be a squad player helping out at centre back / play cup matches in his last season , so in effect we would have lost 2 midfielders in fern and silva .. so we will have 2 defensive midfielders in rodri / gundogan who can play there , Bernado and Kev play on the right of midfield and this lad who plays on the left of the midfield and also can play deeper and there is also Foden ! What a fantastic midfield 6 that would be ..2 for each position it’s a long old season and pep isn’t bad at rotating as the trophies he’s won have shown !!

It's weird how reluctant Pep is to play Bernardo as the left 8, I think he'd do great there. When KdB and Bernardo have played together in midfield it's been more of a 4231 with KDB as a 10 and Bernardo in the double pivot. I mean it has worked great but why waste Bernardo's world class attacking qualitiesyep gundogan for me plays a lot better when he’s on his own in that holding midfielder role , he was immense playing there when we won the last 14 games in a row to win the prem , watching him and Rodri together is painful tho and needs to be one or the other I agree Been suprised we didn’t see more of Bernado and kev together in midfield this season , don’t think pep likes Bernado on the left , this is where this lad from Lyon would fit in perfectly .
