Not for me, he had a good game against juve winning a dubious penalty then sitting back with the rest of the team soaking up pressure, he has played well this season in a more forward role, but who`s place would he fill?Sane`s has gone to Torres, Silva`s has gone to Foden? why would we want him, i can see a lot of Nasri `without the attitude` in him but is that enough, we do have a need, a back up to Rodri but Aouar is not the best fit Camavinga is, already daubed the new Viera he is better than Kante his price will probably be double that of Aouar and for a good reason

Surely we are searching for a CMF player as we only have gundo/rodri and ferna in that position. Ferna is old so if we have to play 2 CMF it is a problem.
May be this rumor is a typical big club looking after a small clubs player when they are about to meet in the next game.

Where there's smoke, there's fire and there has been consistent links with Aouar for about 2 seasons now. Pep seems to be a fan and that speaks volumes. Fingers crossed this comes through...hopefully he'll be on his summer holiday by Saturday night and this can start moving

£54m is absolutely huge money for someone that is far from our priority.maybe I'm just immune to what we spend on players but 54m doesn't sound unreasonable.

He's more priority than a £100m striker we dont need.£54m is absolutely huge money for someone that is far from our priority.

Rodri, Gundog, Kev, Phil and Bernado. Five players for 3 positions isn't enough for a full season shoehorned into a shorter time frame than normal.I hope we don't get this lad, our midfield is already stacked and we need to strengthen in other areas.

Would not like to see Mahrez in mf, no way. He doesn't have the work rate for a start and doesn't have the tenacity of Kev, Bernado or Phil.
