How are we all feeling about our club today?

I won't lie - 55yrs following the club and this week has left me somewhat jaded and questioning the whole thing. Phil's performance has bucked me up but I still have concerns about repercussions. Its all been very silly at the end of a really trying season which I just want finished the trophies dished out ( with us getting as many as we can ) then just let the dust settle and move on to the next season. I fear we have given the haters all the more to hate and with the poisoned press I suspect this will be a millstone around City's neck will be a fact longer than it will be for any of the other clubs involved.

United fans have lived with supporting their club but hating their owners for years. We, as a whole, have been supportive of ours (despite some potential reservations). I have been happy to be weaponised to call out and challenge the cartel and the hypocritical fan base of the entitled clubs. I know more about club finances, amortisation, football politics and FFP than any fan should have to. I have invested heart and soul into the club and the 'project'.
I was going to walk away from football over this. Walk away from the club. Now I want to support our team, our manager and our on field actions. When challenged about our ownership I may well now do the United approach. Shrug my shoulders and simply say 'yeah. Shit isn't it'.

This is whats the worst thing. They needed us much more than we needed them. Everything we fought against for the last 13 years ultimately destroyed. and now we have nothing to stand on have to take everything that comes our way. Sorriano needs to go, Khaldoon needs to do an interview and explain/apologise. Looking forward to the season being over for a break from it all.

Jeez you guys are doom and gloom.

Utd want to replace their owners, lfc too. We're seen as the saviours out of this shit even considering the tribalism. The managers happy, the players, we're setup for the CL semi quite nicely now (imagine if we were still part of this rebellion). We're getting positive press from even our haters. City and Chelsea look like we're the now the new kids on the block and finally the red clubs and their owners are getting the shit that was usually reserved for us. No fan is going to listen to shit about our owners now not without thinking about how shit the yank owners are.

But yes let's sack someone else

It's a new era, we're at the forefront, we've got the money and the success and now influence in UEFA's inner circle.

It's not all roses but I think we've come out of it a lot better than if we had stayed with the esl project.

United fans (some) hate their owners because they went from a fairly well run club to one with a dangerous model. As it happens they can survive because they live in the PL whereas Real Madrid are finding out why constant borrowing isn't eternal. Our owners have stabilised us, got us to almost parity with the biggest sporting names and we can withstand unforeseen circumstances like what we're going through. I just don't get why people should be ashamed of our ownership other than maybe human rights in the country they are from, but in terms of how they run their operations in the UK there's no problem there as far as I know.

This SL project is still a mystery on our part and will probably stay that way. Yes, we have been "involved" in talks for some time, but there's "involved" (as in what's your view) and "involved" (as in this time next year we'll be trillionaires). We may have been saying all along that we're in no rush and the scheme should be fair. After all, we've no need to really change things do we. Then when approached we ask to see the details and are told "You have to join to see the details", which is probably normal for a secretive plan. We say "Okay", join (or sign a letter of intent) in order to assess it, find we don't like it and withdraw. What exactly have the owners done wrong there? If the plan had included normal qualification rules it would possibly still be alive. I also reckon if PSG and BM had joined and we hadn't, the media would be all over this explaining why it is needed.
