How are we all feeling about our club today?

In all honesty, I'm a bit disappointed by the lack of fans who seem to give a damn about how this would have effected the rest of the football world.

Of course I can understand how most on here care mainly about City, but this move would have fucked over so many smaller clubs and not many seem to care about that despite City being of those smaller clubs not so long ago.

If the ESL had gone ahead there would never again have been a club able to do what City have done. And that would have been a crying shame.

I cant wait for the club to offer me another SC at an inflated price so i can be a vociferous puppet playing my part listening to a pre game psuedo Manc narrater telling me i should be proud to be a Mancunian. Fuck off with Hugh Ferret, thanks. We were proud Mancs well before all this modern day greed and owners insatiable desire to turn us into aasn ESL hell Yankee Doodle dandy show pony!

Us mugs sat there in the stadium, all to appease and please TV hamerican fans to shake their pom-poms at on Mike-TV. Its all part of the razzamataz folks. Its the future of football, unfortunately. Sorry but I've already left my SC seat at the Weat Ham game, new mug required for next season!

PL and European Football is already ruuined but they want to add insult to injury further. Imagine a knife edge game and bang, another - "stop the game ref"! The ref has heard another earpeace message from an unknown source and another controversial incident ebbs the flow of an exciting game. Ihts become another sorry mess of stagnant sileage that paying match going supporters are supposed too swallow and accept!

Stop the match and wind back the tape, those bent bastards need to pervert the course of football yet again in order to come to the 'correct decision'. Edit the offside line with 'Blackpool mirrors', get ready to sweat out another dragged out VAR farce. TV fans go Munch on yer pizza, glub on your Bud and watch several Coca Cola McDonald's and shite neverending DFS sale ads until it's been decided, all so advertisers ram another half dozen ads down our throats.

Did I say future of football? : /

I’m a real football fan so I HATE Manchester city now because they victimized ME.

None of you could possibly comprehend how affected by this I am, football just means more to me than any one else I guess.
Am I best football fan ever for being so strong and traditional in my attitude to football? Maybe. It’s not for me to say, I’ll just let the fact that I’m the most upset about this transgression speak for itself.

I’m considerably more upset than you

I said 'it's shit' if you read carefully (which it is ). I won't pretend this was some grand manoeuvre by our club to out the cartel, unlike some desperate people on here. We were between a rock and a hard place but we made the wrong choice. So it is shit. The secret none consultation approach was also shit. The apologies were shit. Pep was great. The players were great. We were great (1 in 20 City fans supported the ESL, 1 in 4 United fans.)
I imagine you got those numbers form Redcafe and blue moon. If so I think it is flawed as redcafe seems to have shed loads of Indians and Chinese etc etc who probably skewed the vote. Pretty sure out of the 72000 Utd home fans at games it would be almost unanimous against

I cared but I would like to point out that an awful lot of fans of these other clubs didn't give a fuck about us while and probably still 'the man' continues to try and bring us down.

For a few days there was a huge consensus when fans came together. Because this particular proposal disappeared we have reverted to type too quickly and Sky went from being in the vanguard of bringing this down, (or at least being a vehicle with Gary Neville et al and the coverage being spot on), to let’s deduct points nonsense.
Let’s not forget what nearly just happened and the thought process I went through during the 48-72 hours. I priced up a season ticket at a league 2 club. I then realised that the whole structure (pyramid) would be compromised. I love what Sheikh Mansour has done for our club, but with a stroke of a pen he can destroy football. That cannot be allowed to be the case. We cannot afford as a country or fan base to get 50+1% stake like Germany and there are other investors beyond Sheikh Mansour too. Only government legislation can help bring about an end to these constant threats these owners pose to the game we all love.

I care about other clubs in direct proportion to the extent that they have cared about us over the years.
