They were best team in both legs, 4-3 did not reflect this as Shay made a few great saves. We are justing building a team, they have years on us and massive investment £100Ms on teams....just reminded them we have closed gap in a short space of time, how good this will make derby day in future and 34 years we are still here....

also pointed out that when they fall out of top 4, stop winning how many fans will make the journey from essex and dublin?

end of day we fell short and they are in the final...but they are starting to get worried!

Been gracious in defeat and saying the better team won over the two legs and that Tevez has made his point which they agreed on. I said it was an entertaining game and we're closing the gap and making it more competative but stopped short of congratulating them on their victory. End of the day these things happen but we'll enjoy plenty more semi-finals in the future and win them. It's just a blip in the blue revolution.

Luckily almost no-one has said anything to me about it all day. One rag has just said he thought it was a good game and a good advert for football in Manchester.
To be honest, I wouldn't have responded to anything anyway. I'm still shell-shocked.
This is actually the first time that football has affected my sleep. I just need a few days to get over it....a good atmosphere and a win on Sunday sort me out !

I thought our fans were OUTSTANDING last night ! where the press got the '74000 screaming rag fans from' i'll never know. all you could hear were the BLUE FAITHFULL singing their heads off and the songs were FANTASTIC too. the rags didn't have an answer to them . WELL DONE ALL YOU WHO WENT!!!!! the ONLY time the swamp cameto life was when shreck scored the winner in the dying seconds. b........d ( thank god he's english)

I'm exactly the same, this is the first time ever where I've not been able to eat/sleep properly for over a week because of football. By Sunday I'm sure the batteries will be recharged and hopefully we can get three points.
