How can we address these bad performances?

Part of the issue is that the replacement(s) for Gundo just havent stepped up as of yet. Both Kovacic and Nunes have intergrated yet and clearly Pep seems to favour other players....

Kovacic looks ok and Nunes has hardly played but we all know it takes the vast majority of players a good year to adapt to Pep.....and we simply dont have that time to do that

Nunes is a strange buy for me - he is a luxury player from what Ive seen of hm previously - not sure he has the temprament to be a player in this squad but hopefully that can change

Liverpool is not so solid at the back but they have a very strong attack to bail them out always. Arsenal are looking like the most stable from the back to the front. We are not looking particularly imperious up top while the defense is in shambles. What do we do quickly?

In my opinion we need to shake thing up and have a stable back line of Dias and Stones playing together then Ake needs to start more. In attack I think we need to try new things out. Alvarez doesn’t always have to start games.

Any ideas?

All s good, last season there was a bitter stink of shite from some posters. They need to get a grip and stick to their day job and stop infecting threads with their negative attitude. We are all good for a good season, still in first gear and in everything still.

Yeah, it feels like this season, to improve, all we have to do is tighten up a bit in defence/midfield and be a bit more clinical up front. Midway through last season (and in 20/21) Pep had to completely reshape the entire team because of how badly some players were performing. The job on his hands is much simpler than this time 12 months ago and you can tell from his presser today that he knows it.
