How do we get better next season?

Would love Lewandowski. Just cant see us buying a striker. We play with only one, so it would be a massive headache for Pep to give game time to all three if we sign someone high profile like Benzema/Lewandowski.

Having a plan B would be great yeah. But it would have to be someone happy to only get 10 games a season. Difficult to get someone of real quality then. Thats why Sanchez was such a blow. Would have covered all front 3 positions for us while getting plenty of game time. Thats why we will be looking at a wide player who can play through the centre in my opinion.

6 games, 4 Pool wins, 1 draw, 1 City win. Only City win we had 60 minutes vs 10 players.

Pep is keep getting punished defensively the same way in these games. Klopp knows some of our weaknesses and he must be surprised that those weaknesses are still there and ready to be punished every time he has to play vs Pep.

Klopp has had that Liverpool side nearly two years longer than Pep has had this City side. What he’s done with the team on paper is good, they have a great forward line (although selling Coutinho was very stupid and will stop them being one of the best teams of the decade!) but in reality he’s massively underachieving with them because despite having Pep’s number, he has the number taken off him by the good managers down the bottom of the Prem. he has more flaws than Pep.

We played 352 at the start of the season until Mendy was injured. I remember hearing a mental stat which was along the lines of 'Mendy in 4 games has more crosses than Delph'.
We should be using this to our advantage.
Aguero is has a history of injuries and Jesus is young. I think there's room for another striker.

Your right think he was a huge blow missing out on him , what about Roberts giving him a chance as back up

Andy Carrol he only plays 10 a season surely couldn’t get injured

Pep's ideal would be having 11 David Silva's, he noted as much himself, not verbatim but 11 midfielders of high quality.

It is possible at Bayern he was restricted a bit whereas here he can do as he wishes. I may be totally wrong but it is a reasonable explanation.
He can use them but is it his first choice or was a it a make do situation? i suppose that would be a question to ask Pep.
