How do we qualify if we and Napoli both finish on 9 pts?

Two draws would be enough...
Not so. If we finish level on points with Napoli, having drawn there, it will go to goals scored away from home in the two matches between us & them. If we only manage a 0-0 draw then they go through, having scored 1 at ours. If we draw 2-2 or higher, then we go through. If we draw 1-1 then it goes to the last game and will depend on how many they score in Villarreal.

Correct. Mind you I'd prefer to put the situation beyond any doubt with two wins.

A win in naples means we are through, hopefully we get the job done without it coming to the last day of matches. Will be tough to win there but we can take advantage of them at the back.

The fact bayern would of clinched plays in our favour

Bayern would like nothing better than knocking us out at our place. They wont want us in the competition in later rounds.

I think we need to try and beat Napoli. Going there for a draw would be very dangerous anyway.

Agree 100%

I don't agree at all. They will be coming to Manchester with the number one spot in the group assured. They will have played the following weekend and will be playing again in a few days. They will want to beat us but I would be surprised if they don't put out a slightly weakened side.

They will only have the No 1 spot assured if we don't beat Napoli. If we do beat Napoli then a victory by more than 2 goals at home to Bayern would give us top spot.

Heres the criteria from UEFA
http://www.uefa.com/MultimediaFiles.../Regulations/01/63/02/44/1630244_DOWNLOAD.pdf
Page 10 >11

If two or more teams are equal on points on completion of the group
matches, the following criteria are applied to determine the rankings (in
descending order):
a) higher number of points obtained in the group matches played among the teams in question;
b) superior goal difference from the group matches played among the teams in question;
c) higher number of goals scored in the group matches played among the
teams in question;
d) higher number of goals scored away from home in the group matches
played among the teams in question;
e) if, after having applied criteria a) to d), two teams still have an equal
ranking, criteria a) to d) are reapplied to determine the final ranking of the
two teams. If this procedure does not lead to a decision, criteria f) to h)
apply;
f) superior goal difference from all group matches played;
g) higher number of goals scored from all group matches played;
h) higher number of coefficient points accumulated by the club in question,
as well as its association, over the previous five seasons (see
paragraph 9.02).

They will likely come in believing (rightly) that the spot is theirs. I expect after they play Villarreal the GD will be all but insurmountable.
