How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

Turns out that your passport ‘expiry date’ is no longer true, when travelling to the EU anyway.
For all the millions who’ve renewed early and got a passport lasting longer than 10 years, because of previous validity, you’ve been screwed as well. The passport validity is now 10 years ‘after its issue date’. It’s a good job they need us more than we need them or we’d be in even more trouble….

leave the EU - control our borders - end the exploitation of cheap foreign labour.

How's that going then?

It’s an equilibrium mate. Suck it up.

We are making our own way in the world.

Can't you cope without sucking at the teet of Europa?

I am just concerned for the mental health of all those leave voting racists when they realise what is actually happening - forriners still keep coming but they don't look like "us" - must be their worst nightmare

Sad state of affairs. Not just Brexit related, also through the governments inaction.

That being the Govt that brought us Brexit?? Its all about Brexit. Had Brexit not happened that firm would be happily trading on in the UK employing 1000 British people exporting to the EU because we were a member state - It was Brexit and only Brexit what done it

And the arts - ah yes the arts - that generated £bn's for the UK economy but an industry that this emotionally stunted bunch of cock wombles in charge don't understand - they championed fishing then buggered it and left it by the wayside so why would music and the arts expect any success - as Mr Daltrey.....

I‘m sure that he said that they spent £6 mil in and attempt to try and overcome Brexit but what they couldn’t overcome was the 260% rise in energy costs?

The arts eh? That would come under culture wouldn't it? Do you really think the country that has Mad Nad Dorries as culture secretary gives two fucks about the arts?

Do people think this thread is so one sided because there’s actually very few Brexit supporters left on the forum (Because of how shite it is) or because they know the politics forum has a sizeable remain majority and just don’t want to get into a losing battle?

I sometimes get the impression the politics subforum is on the whole much more left leaning than the rest of the site.

There are few brexit supporters left on the forum because we can now see that there can be no logical, rational cogent defence of brexit.
If there were one, then they could come on here and say so. They’d be very welcome.
Yes , there are a lot of left leaning contributors on this thread and I am one.
However, you do not need to have any political bias to see what an epic clusterfuck brexit is. You simply need the ability to observe, understand , and analyse facts and exercise some critical thinking.
