When they call an election Parliament is dissolved and at that point there are NO MP's ( ideal time for Putin to attack if you ask me ) so they can make the change - the fact that its noted as doable means it probably has been done already

I get the concept and process as to how it could happen, I was asking if it actually had.

It’s possible for him to lose his seat, be made a Lord and for him to then come back as PM. It’s never happened yet though, I don’t think.
