How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

My wife is eligible for a German passport. If we were younger, I'd be seriously tempted to emigrate there. The average German family is 20% better off than the average British family. Yet according to the beetroot-face brigade, the German economy is failing and we are doing better.

(That's like saying I can almost certainly - in percentage terms - improve my time over 100 metres at a greater rate than the World Champion sprinter!)

how can you say that when the socials all explain how the German economy is doing worse than ours and the country is overrun by Muslim terrorists - has to be true Elon promotes it

Oh god I clicked on it. Took me back. If ever an internet poster personified an idiology it's the Bloviator and Brexit. Gargantuan arrogance and ignorance in an almost totally perfect blend.
You missed off being spectacularly wrong. If you’re going to as strident as that, be sure of the ground you’re standing on.

Was just looking at bookmarks and found this one from our old bloviating friend.

Anyway, I know it’s only four and a half years but that’s near enough.

Are you ready to “man up” @Oldham Exile or do we have to wait till May next year?

I hope I don’t make that list? ;-)

I genuinely feel shame and stupid for voting to leave and wish I could turn back the clock.

If the government announced tomorrow the process to rejoin was starting it wouldn’t be a moment too soon.

I’ve said before, my life hasn’t changed for the worse but it’s absolutely clear, leaving the EU hasn’t changed it for the better and it’s negatively affected many and divided us when there was genuinely no reason to.

Nah, that was a response to someone who specifically told me to bookmark his post. So I did.
