How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

What do nuclear weapons have to do with a trading partnership? That's what nato is for, which the UK is still a member of.

It's called being ganged up no matter what the gang. Better in a gang of 400 milion than 70 million whether it's trade or war. They are intertwined whether we like it or not in my opinion.

There is a process going on. Politicians know that the government that takes us back closer to or into the EU will generate significant economic growth and optimism. Where as doing more of what the tories are doing is inevitable going to be more failure and stagnation.

But it's balancing the public mood. The brexit process was horrible and few have appetite to do it again. And the tories would still love to pitch themselves as patriotic brexiteers vs the surrender monkey labour.

It looks bleak now but Starmer will have to move the dial on his EU rhetoric. The Labour members will demand it.

And yet the UK is still in that 'gang' even outside the EU.

I don't think any of those countries have nuclear weapons of their own whether you agree with having them or not. They may have US bases but I stand to be corrected. It's only my opinion whether it's "fuck all" to do with the EU or not. You have yours whatever that is. No problem.

By leaving the EU we have declared ourselves a competitor to the EU who themselves realise how to deal with competition thats only 20 miles away - we are not in a gang - we are a single entity
