How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

I am baffled as to how so many successful business owners were successful but easy to dupe.

Oh I remember now - Greed

They wanted it all ways, that was the thing, and they thought they could have it.

It is better to be a major shareholder in a large, successful enterprise than the sole owner of a small, failing business. They should at least have been able to grasp that.

Tbf there were plenty of business owners (small and large) warning of the perils of a leave vote.

But if the large , successful enterprise has people of colour in it .... then it was worth the pain .

they are all heading to become SME's - Sunak would be mental to leave it until next year to go into a GE - things will be so fucking bad nothing will "turn up" in a Micawberish manner to save the Tories - its not are they going to lose its about how badly do they want to lose and are they prepared for a wipe out. If its a wipe out Toryism will factionalise and become a number of different Party's - the ultimate manifestation of Brexit

Finally! A Brexit benefit!

So, anybody still think Brexit’s a winner?

US bankers seem to have come out well from it, the fuckers.

Wonder if there is something in that as a root of the entire thing? Everyone on the brown envelope trail back to bankers from USA.

Stellantis warning no agreed renegotiation on rules of origin and for them UK plants are done. Thats Vauxhall over.
The same will come to Toyota in Derby and NISSAN Sunderland. No doubt will also envelop MINI BMW - JLR and other plants.

Still its only project fear eh?

A weak pound means a strong dollar.

Plenty of big investors bet big on the dollar and plenty of businesses trade in the dollar in the UK. Brexit was a god send.

The whole industry will go which is a disaster, but part of me thinks 'good- you fucking voted for this'. Particularly true of nissan workers in Sunderland who gleefully voted leave

Brexit has been a total success. The campaign, by the rich, has duped millions of dickheads into believing it was for our benefit when it was actually to our detriment.

Can't we just blame Russian influence and turn it all back!
I don’t think it’s a straightforward as that. There are plenty of rich people who have had significantly reduced circumstances because of Brexit, and who counselled against it.

Thank God we have just signed the CPTPP - 1% added to the economy over a decade and we are now rule takers and not makers. Just what was promised in 2016 eh?

Badenoch interviewed seeming not to understand what she had just signed and then they had an expert in exports on (college lecturer not an actual exporter) waxing lyrical about opportunities to export gelati to Australia. Of course Australia (a place with a healthy Italian heritage population) thats often very hot will not have devised how to make gelati and ice cream already and will be amazed by the new product lol
