How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

My daughter sent a parcel to a friend of hers in the Netherlands that ended up stuck in customs (folllowed on the Post Office app).
Took a month to be delivered in the end.
This was a big thing for her (she's autistic and has few friends).
Having no experience with sending stuff over to Europe I wasn't sure if this was standard or another Brexit benefit.

just open up abroad

At least it got there - I am pleased for her and hope she is made up mate

I don’t think there is a person on either side that can deny it’s been a cluster fuck of massive proportions and best course of action would be to rejoin and never talk about it again, sadly that’s not going to happen in the near future so we need some solutions, I think the most obvious thing to do is to rejoin the SM and CU, it’s going to cost us, and we won’t have any say in the rules but we have to build up some trust with them, the demographics are changing and with it so are attitudes

When the economy didn’t crash and burn and there wasn’t rampant unemployment immediately after the brexit vote , the brexiters told us that it had all been project fear and remainers had been full of lies and been proved wrong.
When the economy didn’t boom immediately after the brexit vote, and we didn’t get cheaper food and clothes and sunny uplands and unicorns, the brexiters told us…………we need to give it 50 years.
