How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

I think it's stupid to even try to evaluate it. Nobody saw the pandemic or the Russian invasion coming, and the problems that has caused. Either one of those would have created turmoil, let alone both of them right on top of one another so to expect us to be entering a wonderful new post-Brexit era right now is just absurd, and that's putting it nicely. It would have taken many years to see any real benefits even without all that.
The damage was already evident before the pandemic or Ukraine. Every sensible economist, and the OBR, said so. But experts, hey...

I think calling it "stable" is a bit of a stretch.

I'm not calling it one way or another, I'm just saying it's impossible to tell because it's far too early. Sure, those events have made a big difference but they would have done either way. Staying in the EU wouldn't have helped, and with the vaccine distribution it might well have made things worse. We did manage to jump a very long EU queue when the vaccine was released, simply because we weren't part of the EU any more.
Pay attention. Astra Zenica prioritised selling us vaccines despite a contract with the EU that said there were no other prioritised contracts.

Corbyn the fucking dickhead said another brexit referendum if labour win!!!! Hang on what about DEMOCRACY not one fuck wit in the labour furherbunker said that’s not a good idea!!!! Worst defeat ever at an election.New Labour policy let’s keep voting until we get the result that suits us…Not one labour MP has ventured anywhere near a picket line not one,Labour has been hijacked by mung bean eating middleclass twonks who have never had their hands dirty in their lives who constantly slag working class voters off because they want what’s best for their families and communities who constantly are ignored by politicians and branded thick……The Labour Party are finished time for a new party
Brexit was a right-wing power-grab. To reduce your democratic rights.

the bellends who were played to "win" Brexit haven't yet noticed all those who played them no longer mention Brexit - for them it was a means to an end they just needed to give an erotic massage to some plebs ego's to get it over the line. Once they did they could revert back to shitting on the hoi polloi whilst stealing all the money.

Brexit was the biggest con job in British history. Paid for by dark money from weird billionaires and Russia.
Those financing it did not do so to bring about socialism or to advance your interests.
On the contrary, their motive was to weaken the country (and the EU!) and steal even more money than they were stealing before.
As far as the Brits involved are concerned, there is only one word for them and it isn't a pretty one.
The limited education of most of the population and the incredibly biased and corrupt press carried this act of treachery over the line by what was a very narrow margin of those who bothered to vote.

Not everyone who voted for brexit was thick. But more thick people voted for brexit than didnt vote for brexit. Decide for yourself what group your are in.

I'd like to see a "Brexit voters - How do you feel about it" thread". It would be carnage I know but tbh I'd really like to know how much they feel or know theyve been duped by this govn, their govn.

It’d be no different to this thread. Hardly any input from them unless late on a Friday/Saturday night.

I reckon 80% of them would still be very much in favour. However the 20% who will admit to it being a huge mistake would be more than enough to swing the vote the other way if there was one, in almost every region in England (excluding Lincolnshire).

I'm not sure it's a high as 80% but of the Brexit voters who are sticking with it I'd say that this quote from yesterday pretty much sums up the stance of the majority. It's quite a fascinating read if you analyse it. I think that many voted Brexit because they don't like foreigners but once it was done they stuck with it because they enjoyed the feeling of power of bloodying the nose of the better educated (even though they broke their own knuckles and had to pay for the ambulance)
Another whinge bag the country voted !!! The outcome leave DEMOCRACY like it or not.The Country is run by people not fit for purpose in ALL parties……get the fuck on with it slagging brits off who voted leave their decision.Back britain if not fuck off ….sick of you mung bean eating snowflakes .The people are the power not those twats in parliament….
