How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

Will we all be getting a leaflet through our doors telling us how to use the CTTP whatever it is. I’d hate not to take advantage of it.

Are you seriously trying to suggest that the Express isn’t being entirely straightforward in one of its front page headlines?

I believe them wholly - we have signed a deal that will mean all the other members will hand over the equivalent of their entire GDP in honour of us joining them

The first thing Labour should do on Day 1 of government is to send off the required six-month notice of withdrawal from the CPTPP. It is an utterly pointless trade deal that involves secret courts. No deal involving secret courts should be allowed to stand for a minute. It is also a blockage to closer alignment with the EU.

I disagree - day 1 fire off a letter demanding we get a say in ALL the decision making. When that is inevitably rejected THEN submit the 6 months notice and publicise we want to leave because we will not be dictated to by others - use the Brexiteers own language and tactics back upon them - the only thing they may understand

It isn't a blockage to closer alignment with the EU if we can leave with 6 months notice.

The EU know Labour want to work with them and rebuild the bridges destroyed by the tories. A more concilliatory tone from the UK will benefit both sides.

Sick of foreigners enforcing rules on us? Making UK laws? Welcome to the world of rule taker not rule maker

Apparently, people in Grimsby thought leaving the EU would bring haddock and cod flocking back to UK waters and that the long trains of fish wagons to every corner of the UK would roll again.

That's like thinking that by changing your library book you will become a winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature.

Deluded doesn't begin to cover it.
