Nice one Brexit voters. We're now being flooded with imports instead of having a car industry. The lorries queuing at Immingham will probably back up far enough to meet the queues at Dover.

You're right it should be an easy fix. But it just shows us how embedded we were into the EU after 40+ years.

The answer to that is simple.

No.

The first thing is the EU won't entertain the idea of the UK bidding to rejoin, unless there's unanimous political support for the bid from the UK's major political parties, that's an absolute prerequisite, right now there isn't unanimity, and that's not changing any time soon.

Couldn't we just sneak in on a boat or a makeshift raft or climb on the roof of the Eurostar.
If its that easy to get out of Calais or cherbourg, maybe its as easy to go the opposite way.

Unfortunately it’s not that easy. The Tories signed lots of low/invisible value trade deals which means it’s impossible to rejoin the block on a collective bargaining arrangement. FOM is incredibly unpopular inside the EU and UK. We need to arrange better deals with the EU but I doubt we will ever rejoin and if anything the EUs days may be numbered due to the rise of populism throughout the world.

Every country is being flooded with Chinese exports. They are subsidised and should be taxed to the limit.
NOT JUST THE UK.
