How does Mark Hughes keep getting work?.

Mark Hughes has a 41% win record.

Strachan has 44%. Grant has 46%

He is a worse manager than Gordon Strachan and Avram Grant.

For the record, Mancini's record is 56%. Ferguson's is 57%

You're normally a very reasonable poster but your use of statistics is misleading here. Avram Grant only Managed two Premiership Clubs with a spell at Chelsea with someone elses team. He won NO trophies at Chelsea either yet Mourinho, Hiddinck and Ancelotti all did. His record at Portsmouth and West Ham is a little higher than a 30% win ratio. He relegated both Pompey and The Hammers. Hughes relegated no-one.

Strachan's win record in the Premiership only is 32%! Please don't count his record at Celtic because there's no competition outside of one other Club. The Premiership is the greatest League in the world.

Hughes will do a solid job at QPR and I am willing to bet anyone £50 he doesn't relegate them which is a consensus going around right now. Who wants a bet?

Like others, I was originally disappointed with his arrival at City because we'd let Sven go despite winning titles in 3 different Leagues and replaced him with a man who was too familiar with our hated rivals. However, I was prepared to give him a chance and felt he did a good but not great job. We were in 6th when he left the Club. Not 16th.

I was willing to give him a chance too but lets be honest, he was fucking shit. The return on what he spent was dire and I will never be convinced the RSC signing was all above board.
I was even willing to wish him well when he left but he's proved himself to be a proper snidey little ****, so I hope he crashes and burns, obviously.

Stuart Pearce churned up football 100 times more dire than anything Hughes managed and Kevin Keegan's transfer record was absolutely shocking in comparison to what money was available to spend. It's the same with Sven! None of his players remain at the Club whilst Kompany, Zabaleta, Lescott, De Jong, Kolo Toure and Barry are here and will be for the future.

There's also comments about Hughes nicking Warnock's job but the rumours about his departure only began on Sunday and Warnock wasn't forced to take charge of a Team despite his replacement already having been made. Journalists will pounce on this if it's true and they haven't. QPR have wealthy backers too.

I agree about Pearce, worst football we've ever seen. At least Keegan's team was exciting to watch.
Kompany was a great signing but a complete fluke by Hughes. He was signed as a midfielder and the fact that he's developed into one of the best centre backs in the world has nothing whatsoever to do with Hughes. We massively overpaid for Lescott and in doing so, Hughes arrogance soured relations with Everton so badly that they still haven't recovered. Kolo Toure is nothing to brag about, Arsenal had his best years and apart from the odd game here and there he's been pretty poor considering his price and reputation. Zabs was a good signing I'll give him that but he'll never be first choice. So was Barry and DeJong, but they were hardly bargains and we paid top dollar for the pair of em.
I'd prefer Mancini's signings to Leslies any day of the week and I wouldn't let him loose with a penny of my money if I owned a club.

I completely agree about the RSC signing, it just didn't seem right. We didn't need him, he cost 5 times too much, yet it just seemed inevitable that he would sign. Leslie simply got found out as being out of his depth here imo. He had his good points, he was measured and articulate and professional in press conferences and in public when most of football thought we were a bit of a circus. But equally he seemed to get found out for me.
