How does Mark Hughes keep getting work?.

I can't see or hear a media outcry but it looks like Hughes has done a Mancini on Warnock. How could he?

Because he is a hypocritical c*nt. Same as accusing Mancini of "not offering his hand with sincerity" or whatever bollocks he came out with last season when we have all seen him do the same thing to other managers. Hughes has had "handshake problems" with Pulis, Wenger and Mancini, I get the feeling other managers think he is a turd.

He's a very good manager, perhaps not at our level but very good either way.
One thing for certain is if they appoint him they won't go down. I hope they do cos it means one of Wigan Blackburn or Bolton have survived.

Whats that? A club told a manager they were gonna sack their manager and ask if he wanted the job before they got rid of the useless manager? I think you will find most manager has done that

He did a great job for Blackburn who punched well above their weight. There was less competition outside the top 4 then though with only Everton consistently challenging. Not so great for us. Probably do a good job for QPR and get them close to top half.

Express reporting that the worlds most ambitious manager wants £30 mill to sign bent, drogba, samba and bridge (on loan). The good news for qpr is that after spending £30 mill and avoiding relegation, hughes will ask for another £50 million to achieve mid table status by signing david bentley, roque santa cruz, matty upson and phil jagielka. With an extra £100 mill on top of that they could consolidate this mid table position, and with a further £150 mill they can become much more dynamic, ask more questions and finish fifth, obviously

I reckon if hughes even mentioned the name santa cruz to fernandez he will have talked himself out of the job!

Makes you wonder why he made such a big deal about Mancini doing it then.

Despite the absolute pigs *rse he made of the job when he managed us, which to be fair he was just way way out of his depth. I do think that Hughes isn't that bad as a manager up to a certain level. His records speak for themselves at Blackburn and Fulham.

So long as QPR have no aspirations of fiinshing at least top 6 every 7 season or going on to try and crack the top 4 any time in the near distant future then he will be just fine for them. You have to fear for Barton can't see him being there much longer can't see him and Sparkey rubbing along too nicely.

Anyway every cloud has a silver lining, I'm sure the stamp licker ooops sorry the football adminstrator Marwood is rubbing his hands together now that he has an outlet to offload Crocky and the rest of sh*t Hughes left us with.

Another corrupt bastard returns to the game aided by his shady agent. probably bend over for taggart then come to ours kicking fuck out of Silva.

Mark Hughes has been confirmed as the new manager of Queens Park Rangers on a two-and-a-half year deal.

The Welshman was made the favourite to take the job at Loftus Road after the sacking of Neil Warnock on Sunday.

"I'm fully aware of the challenge in the short and long term and I am genuinely excited about the ambition of the owners," Hughes said.

"The immediate priority is to consolidate our place in the Premier League. The future is very bright."

The 48-year-old, who will lead first-team training later on Tuesday, added that the role filled him with "great enthusiasm".

Hughes, who has has previously managed Wales, Blackburn Rovers and Manchester City, left Fulham in June citing his desire "to further my experiences" as "a young, ambitious manager".

QPR lie 17th in the Premier League and have gone eight league games without a win, last picking up three points with a 3-2 win at Stoke on 19 November.

Club chairman Tony Fernandes, who completed his takeover in August, believes Hughes' desire to prove himself makes him the ideal appointment.

The interview process will have been more about Mark interviewing QPR rather than the other way around

Hughes' former Wales team-mate Barry Horne

"Mark has a proven track record in the Premier League, bringing a wealth of experience at both club and international level," he said.

"He has a great passion to achieve as a manager and has already been hugely successful in his career.

"His ambitions match those of the board and we are delighted to have him at the helm."

QPR were promoted back to the top flight last season under Warnock and made an encouraging start to the season.

They were ninth after the victory at Stoke but have failed to win since then and have slid to within one point of the relegation zone.

MARK HUGHES' CAREER

Playing career takes in spells at Manchester United (twice), Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Everton, Blackburn, Southampton and Wales
Scores 163 goals in 606 club appearances. Wins 72 caps for Wales, scoring 16 times
Appointed part-time Wales manager in 1999
Becomes Blackburn manager in 2004
Appointed manager of Manchester City in 2008
Sacked by Manchester City in December 2009
Appointed Fulham boss in July 2010, leads them to eighth in Premier League
Announces resignation from Fulham in June 2011
Appointed QPR boss in January 2012

They also needed a last-minute equaliser from Heidar Helguson to avoid an FA Cup third-round defeat by League One side MK Dons on Saturday.

Hughes' first managerial role was with Wales, taking them to within one game of qualifying for Euro 2004.

The former Manchester United and Barcelona striker subsequently took over at Blackburn and, after avoiding relegation in his first season, managed three successive top-10 finishes, attracting the attention of Manchester City in June 2008.

After the Abu Dhabi Group's takeover of the club three months later, Hughes oversaw a spending spree that included the recruitment of Brazilian playmaker Robinho for £32.4m, a British record at the time.

The likes of Emmanuel Adebayor, Joleon Lescott and Carlos Tevez followed, but Hughes's results failed to match the owners' expectations and he was fired in December 2009 with City sixth in the Premier League.

I'm expecting QPR to shoot up the table - after all, Hughes' teams are always stronger in the second half of the season. Obviously.

Can't see him getting on with Barton myself.

I'm not bigging up Barton, by any means, but if there is one tosser lacking the ability to be tactful and mouthy enough to kick up a fuss about Hughes' usual buck passing tactics, it is him.

Hughes will say '' dynamic'' my teams do better at the halfway point in the season and my backroom staff are second to none !!!!
The bloke is still above his level at qpr, he took on a settled fulham team and did worse than the boss before him !! Loves players who work hard as long as they kick the ball straight and will end up leaving before his contract ends.
The bloke knows no tactics ! Cant price a player ! Only vinny an de jong have been good buys despite the huge amounts he spent.
The rest we loan out or will sell for 25 per cent he paid for them !!!!! I know cookie an co should have stopped him sooner, but for me im just glad he is away from our club.
Prob the worst manager other than bruce, even steve keane given the time and half the money hughsless got would do better
R.i.p. Qpr

I think he will. Santa Cruz and Bridge he will go for. He could probably sign the pair for less than 5m

I'd be up for that, it's definitely worth paying him £5M to get them off the books.

Seriously though, I don't think we're that lucky and I'm not sure I'd want to do Leslie any favours after all his sly comments in the press. Although I'm unsure if letting them have Santa Cruz and Bridge would constitute doing them a favour.
It's just too confusing all round.
