How far will the fall be before evasive action is taken?

Why are we bringing Guardiola to the club?
The reason was writ large today. The man I think of now as the 'anti pep' sent out a formation totally bereft of belief and leadership, and the kind of preparation needed at the top level.
Watch Leicester today and watch a team , not a bunch of individuals. Without a doubt , virtually without exception, every player in a city shirt was a better player than his Leicester counterpart - so why did we not win?
Simple really . Lack of preparation in how to deal with the opposition.
Did Pellegrini not know how they would play against us ? I certainly did , and I suspect most of the members of this forum did.
Those who want to say it's silly panic and it was just a bad day at the office can stick their heads in the sand if they want, but there are serious problems with the way Pellegrini sets up the team and we will see a huge difference when pep arrives. Some may not like it.
Pellegrini only acknowledges half a game , he reminds me sometimes of Keegan- you score 3 , we'll score 4, but that doesn't work any more at this level,
Pep is the consummate professional in this respect and is a world away from what we saw today.
That's why we're bringing him to the club.

Pmsl.

The summer and not before so chill your tits.

What's up,not supporting Pellers anymore - you've changed your tune. Not seen anymore of the statue building for Pellers or will go out as our greatest manager stuff for a while.

No sorry op you are delusional. If you are attributing the term "freefall" to us then you are beyond delusional, your talking complete rubbish, it is fiction with nothing to substantiate it.
We are making a right old meal off it all but terms such as "free fall" are so out of bounds it is a bit silly.

Lets hope so and hope he can get us playing fearful football again that strangles the life out of the opposition as opposed to the train wreck waiting to happen at present.

Its certainly the biggest challenge he has taken on to date but he should be improving as a manager as we should see the best of him to date.

lol "my man" says everything about your attitude. You speak to him as if he was wrong for wanting us to do well.
He supports the club and gave Pellgrini credit and grief. Maybe i am mad but he was defending Pellegrini when we were second or third, in 4 cups and right in it and some wanted him out.

Enjoy your faux sense of vindication that this match somehow says Pellegrini must go.

If having a level head and not acting like a 12 on a computer id happy clapping then a happy clapper i am
Pellegrini has his faults but not nearly as many as you.

That is a great post and I completely agree. I would also add that both Pellegrini and Bergeristan should take the blame for the transfer policy and some disastrousl y expensive purchases over the last few years. Fernando Jovetic Mangala Bony and Sterling to name 5 who have cost 140m have been poor purchases in my opinion and when you consider how Leicester have played consideri ng the cost of their squad our tactically inept manager should hang his head in shame.

Manuel knows he's going and as an older gent he isn't going to change, but things could be so different if he would drop players that aren't performing. I'm talking Yaya, Kolarov and MDM for starters. If he really wants to give it the best shot in four tournaments he needs to change the habit of a lifetime and stop playing the players he trusts, put trust in other players who will do a much better job and we may get back on track, stick with the same players and we have a few months of mediocrity on the cards. Take your pick Manuel.

Why can't we relieve Pellers of his position?. Get Kiddo to take over till the end of the season. On match days just get Pellers to sit on his arse in the dug out, then every 20 mins or so, get him to stand in his technical area, fold his arms. Sit down for 20, then stand in the technical area for 5 mins etc...... We could have somebody else in charge and no one would ever know....
