How High...

u10s i was one of the best players in the team. At 12 i was scoring for the u16s. From about 14 i never got many games at my new parish club. A wasted talent (gaa) never got to play for a soccer club but was once called "the white pele" by an onlooker. One of my strengths was i could run from a to z and back!

My careerhighlights include Cheshire county football, Macclesfield District, Mid Cheshire League, and currently plying my trade in the east cheshire sunday league.

My high point was spending 2 years at City's school of excellence at Platt Lane in my early teens and playing against Bolton and Garry Flitcrofts brother.

Highlight - played for my County U-16, probably because they was sod all other sweepers out there - sweepers, christ, remember them? 1992 I think.

Discovered women and drink. Game over.

I was the Samaras of my street.

Utter gash (with the very occasional flash of quite good).

I played in the same school (Under 13) team as Alan West (Greenfield Street, Hyde), who later went on to play for Burnley and captain Luton town in the mid/late seventies.......

I played for city for a few years (11-13), Neil Young and Paul power were my coaches
Then got released and picked up by Stockport County (14-16)
Then realised its not worth the pressure and moved into the manchester league to play for heaton mersey vipers.
Im only 18 however being taught by Neil Young was my biggest achievment

The dizzy heights of the stockport saturday league division 2.

I played at Lilleshall in a cup final for my Uni.

I captained the 1st team at Staffs Uni, we had 4 teams so not too bad!

But snapped my ligaments in the final and never really played since!

scored 52 goals in one season in Cambridgeshire Sunday league, 1st game of season bagged 7 in a 14-0 whitewash.... admittedly i was 26 at the time, working for the post office and never out of the gym and the 2 centre halves were gentlemen of a certain shape... (roundish)...beat 5 of em on a mazy kinkladze-esque run. and scored.. was sorely tempted to carry on running to the changing rooms for a wank

Played regularly from 11 until 32. 1985 Warrington Sunday League Div 4 Championship winner the only legitiamate piece of Silverware.

Highlighs scoring a wonder goal similar to Kinkys against Southampton.

Also played a Cup Match against the " Bay Horse" who included former European Cup Finalist Duncan McKenzie in their line up.
