How important to you is it Sergio gets the record?

Well I'm here to defend why I say what I say,I'm always open for debate but the problem is here is quite simple, first things first I don't hate him,the posters backing him to the hilt are caught up in their own hype about him,he's let you down,as well as the sceptics amongst us.

You can count on one bloody hand how many good games he has had this season, one hand, but as 3 of them where "big games" that is all you have to cling onto.

I won't deny he has had a bit of harsh treatment off referees with decisions, but the team as a whole has all season,so that's that point covered.

I go,with my season ticket (not aways too much) but we always available to see on TV,and witness every time he plays, and what I see has not impressed me at all, either on the left or the right.

He gets dropped, then the Sterling defence gang start to say it's because he's had a knock,or not fully fit, absolute bullshit clutching at straws again,to mask the poor form of the guy,you are kidding yourselves at thinking he has been better than last season, where the truth is he hasn't,it is pretty similair, but MP got slated for it last season,so whose fault is it this time then ? Pep's ? Try looking at the player himself for the answer.

People are quick on here to jump in and put up their line of defence for him,but plenty also agree with me,my pm box is testament to that,it is all about opinions, and I'm entitled to mine as a paying customer.

So like I say,I don't hate him,I hope for the best from him every game, even again tomorrow lunchtime (if he's picked) but am I hopeful of that....well Palace, mmm, maybe he can have a run at Martin Kelly and look good for a change,we shall see,but I ain't holding my breath

You're literally doing it again.

You're talking about him as if he's something you scraped off your shoe.

It's weird as ****, mate.

Sergio, Zabba, Kompany and Silva will all pull at the heartstrings for me when they call it a day. I've accepted that it's time for Zabba to go but still holding out hope that the other three will be around for a couple of more seasons.
Amen to that brother.
The players you have listed are really first class not just on the field but off it. They come across as players who WANT to play for City and are enjoying their time here.

And Sir YAYA of Toure.
I don't hold him in the same esteem unfortunately, not for his lack of contribution as his performances in the seasons we've lifted silverware have been phenomenal at times. The overall package though, a player who has taken City and its fans to heart like the ones I mentioned, not for me.
He'll leave with a fond farewell and a thanks but I won't be too upset.

Individual records should never be at the expense of the team success. I very much hope he breaks the record but I would hate to see him selfishly putting that ahead of his teammates if they are better placed to score.

The guy is an absolute legend and I feel Pep will have to take whole responsibility if he decides to sell him and it doesn't work. I don't believe all this bullshit that the decision is in Sergio's hands just look at who else has been shipped out since Pep took over.

I truly want him to.

I've said numerous times on here that there should be a statue of him scoring that goal outside the North Stand which should be renamed the Sergio Agüero stand ready for when he scores the record breaking goal.
This.

Most fanbases(and I believe ours is no different it's just we get a lot of moaners on bluemoon) would realise the impact this player has had on the club if they had someone similar, too many of ours are just too busy slating their own players all the time... it's like they are never happy with anyone, in fact they are never happy with anything, never appreciate what we have in the present always looking ahead to the future.

He's already a club legend, it's just a matter of how many records he can smash before he leaves as a bar to set for the superstars of the future of the club.

I am devastated our season turned into a pancake we will not get a trophy unless you count the wenger cup.

So no, I don't give a shite about some personal records

But this I agree with.
