How long is your commute to work?

About 30 yrs ago my shitty first car broke down on there blocking one lane at rush hour. I was most dissapointed at the rather hostile and negative attitude of other road users. They said some very unkind things.

There appears to be a six mile queue on the M6 northbound. Some lorry is on fire. Hope it's not the Eddie S they've named Jurgen Klippity!

My morning commute is anything between 15 and 45 minutes. If I leave the house at 0715 it takes 15 minutes and I get to work 30 minutes early. If I leave at 0730 I generally get in on time, but I occasionally get stuck in traffic and end up 15 minutes late.

Going home can take anywhere between 25 minutes and an hour; Friday afternoon being the worse. Some days it has taken me well over an hour to get home.

It's just short of 5 miles.

An hour door to door. I can currently see the Houses of Parliament out of the window.

On a good day about 20 minutes. On a bad one, it can be up to an hour. But I don't often commute at peak times, so it's more often than not the shorter of the two. And it also means I usually get a seat on the bus.
