How long is your working week ?

Monday to Thursday of sorts of 8 till 4 with a Sports afternoon on Wednesday. If i do have to do a Friday I am away by mid-day at the latest. Today I was away for 10am

Currently do 32 hours between Mon-Thurs. Much prefer it to the usual 40 hours plus I used to do. Less money but I get an extra day with my two year old son.

To add to the teacher debate...
I'm a teacher and if your wife is only doing 42 hours a week then she is doing very well! I tend to do about 50 on average, although it is often more than this.
As for the 13 week myth - this week is week 1 and I can deffo say that it hasn't been a holiday. Done a little less work but still over 20 weeks work when on holiday - how many do you do when you book a week off.
I would gladly reduce my 13 weeks to 5 if it meant that I worked less hours and could actually have 5 weeks of doing no work.

Used to run a pub & typically work about 70hrs a week - don't know why it took me so long to change!!

Forty Hours plus Ovies, usually 4 or 5 hours a week.

varies between 35 and 70. Occasionally, I will do 80, or even 90 hours. But generally, I like my work.

Mon to thus 6am till 4pm 40 hours
Overtime
Friday 6pm till 2pm
Then depending what city are doing
Sat 6am till 2pm
Sun 6am till 2pm.
Use to do 12 hours mon to friday until they stopped paying my overtime daily..
