This is true. We have a brilliant structure in place at all levels of the club. We may have a couple of lean years in terms of trophies but will continue to grow. The squad needs a refresh and Pep will oversee this transition,Id say it isnt a rebuild, it is evolution. Older players will stay, younger ones will be introduced, as is normal. This version of our team have to find their feet. Lewis, Pusey, ect will be PL winners.

Over the next 5 years I don't think any team will dominate anymore. It will swing between the scousers, us, and Arsenal, maybe Chelsea.
We just need to reflect on the good times and be humble in the bad times.

Even if top quality players become available then, which they don't often, who worth his salt is going to want to sign for us until the Premier League charges have been resolved?
Totally agree.The most frustrating part of that though is we could have dominated even more and for longer with just a few slightly better or more ambitious transfers.
I still believe that we can continue to dominate and not have to share many trophies IF we actually spend some of these hundreds of millions we’ve accumulated over the last few seasons, and spend on players that will obviously improve us, not just potential or squad fillers.

Buying players who "might" come good is a huge risk. And in the long term is waste of money.
It's not hard to identify a position that needs filling, earmark 2 or 3 TOP players for that position then table the appropriate transfer money.
