How long will the rebuild take?

It's a tricky one this as I guess it depends on a few factors. The team look exhausted and this club cup means that we're barely getting a rest over summer. If that's the case next year could just be as tricky. Our squad just isn't big enough for the games we're playing and if that's true we might need something like 6 new players to come in, or step up from the academy.

January is going to be tricky but maybe Newcastle could be tempted to let Guimaraes go if that means they can keep Isak? I'd also be looking around for maybe a loan deal as well - no idea who, but we need bodies at the moment!

I hope the new guy who's come in has a portfolio ready and I'm sure he will have some ideas.
 
2 midfielders in Jan set us up very nicely for the summer. I’d take a CB too
 
No need to complicate things.

We need a new fast physical full back.

We need a strong ball playing CB.

We need a creative baller.

We need a player who can hold the midfield on his own and also compliment rodders.

We need a forward to help Haaland.

So 5 at least.

It’s going to take a Yaya, silva, boateng, kolarov type window.

Mcatee and lewis - i just dont think they will make the grade. Much as we all want a team full of young blues.

Akanji- tough one. I like him and hes been a bargain but without a strong partner he goes to pot. Probs keep but dunno

Grealish too is a tough one. Probs keep but again not sure.
