I always used to get 5-6, but in the last couple of weeks I'm made a conscious effort to get 8-9 and it makes such a difference. I feel happier, more patience, less grouchy, bigger attention span, etc.
I barely get 5 hours and work at least a 12 hour day mon-fri but even on weekends my body clock just wakes my up at 5.30 am work time and I just cant fall back to sleep, I dont get up that early but it is shit just laying there in bed.
I need 9-10 hours really and used to get it up to about 4 years ago, since then I always wake up after a few hours and end up getting up, then go back to bed for a couple of hours so probably get about 5-6.
