His all round hame is much better.
I said the same to my lad, "wish we still had David".4 or 5 times today he was off on his runs behind but each time we played safe. Mainly Kev, but one instance early in 2nd half, Rodri had the chance to play first time pass through to Haaland but played the safe ball to Kev who was between him and Haaland. They're doubling up on him, so if we're not getting quick balls to him then he's not going to prosper. Also, Kev in the first half gave him a proper dirty look after not making the run he wanted. If only we had Merlin here. :(
ffs iv'e heard it all now!A guy next to me today said “he’s been playing so much better since he stopped scoring”. There’s a kernel of truth in that.
Sir David, if you don't mind ;-)I said the same to my lad, "wish we still had David".
Amazing how it’s gone so quiet after such a sensational start. Looks like Haaland is adapting to Peps control style whereas earlier he was a free spirit and scoring for fun. Unless we start passing to him we’ll continue to struggle to win games.Thought he would get 40 goals now not so sure maybe 35 premier goals
