Im sure you’re well aware the 10’000 tickets are out of over half a million available (500+ a game) and is used in all likelihood to keep the locals quiet, there’s no way of quantifying how many kids get in Anfield on a match day but by all accounts it’s a closed shop and the percentage is low, I’d hazard a guess one adult one child prices at City (in the family stand) stack up pretty well when comparing, and available to all, but you’re right they are great initiatives if you live in the area or a child lucky enough to have an L postcode. The point I’m making PC, is it makes me a blue, because that’s what I am, it’s what I chose to be, I know some might say the club chose them, it’s their birthright and so on, but if somebody chooses to be a City fan, then for me they’re a City fan, end of story really. Do I like some of the antics of a small portion of our support, No! In fact a lot of it does my head in, especially the selfies when stood on the steps 5 minutes into a game.
