How many people have Irish blood/desent on this site?

Dad from Falcarragh, Donegal, mum from Bellmullet, Mayo. Both blues. It's a fallacy that the Irish in Manchester are all rags. My school was predominantly blues of Irish or Jamaican parents

That part of Donegal is absolutely beautiful, doesn't get as packed with tourists as Kerry or West cork either.
Can we nail the myth that all the Irish in Manchester lent their support to the reds after the over-whelming response in this thread? Nice to see!

100% Irish. Lived all my life in Donegal, as have my parents and my grandparents before that.

My mum lived in Moss Side for a short while when she was younger, while most of her brothers all emigrated to different parts of the north of England in the 50's and 60's. One of my Uncles still lives in Moss Side and all his family are blues. I've been a City fan for the past 20 odd years (I'm 34 now), mainly due to this reason. Don't get over as much as I would like to, but will be over for the Villa game in a fortnight - hopefully the ash has disappeared by that stage.
