How many points to win the league?

We can debate the number of wins required till the cows come home, but the bottom line is this league is won. It's over. I know we're not allowed to say it, but it is. This side is not losing 7 or 8 out of 13 games.
This side wouldnt loose 7 or 8 in 3 years never mind 13 games.
Its almost done folks.
Nothing too see her lets move on.

Winning it with the Aguerooooooooo moment, is the best way to win it and will never be topped. However, it will be bloody fantastic to just win it at a canter and without any drama. I think 5 wins might be enough, 6 almost definitely will be plenty.

Indeed. Cityitis is a hard illness to shake off though. Even at 2-0 up last night I was like “not sure taking De Bruyne off this early is a good idea and Diaz is a young lad” etc etc. It’s ingrained into the older ones!

Pep knew West Brom weren’t coming back into to regardless of what he did.

This team expects to win every game and it shows. I have never seen a more confident side

I'll always be like that. Only when we scored the 3rd I allowed myself to smile and relax.

They had a corner on the 83rd min (It was 2-0) and Ederson caught it. I cheered like we had scored!
If that went in, it would have been 2-1 with 10 minutes of them on top, lumping high balls into the box.

Growing up in the 80s and 90s, following City, its embedded in me. I always expect the worst.
Even now, where we are one of the best teams in the world I can’t shake it off.

Me to mate, I never relax until we are three goals up with less than ten minutes to play.

At my age you just can not get "typical City" out of your system, that is why the bulk of our fan base will never be as arrogant as those twats from Trafford.

I said exactly the same thing at 2-0 when kev was going off...it's definitely an older fan perspective mate.
I can still remember 3-0 up v Bournemouth and drawing 3-3... I know we are a different team now but as fans we won't change.

How many points?
Well Pep won’t be happy too lose any game, he only has eyes for wins. One game at a time, one win at a time!
This team have only lost one league game, it’s not going to collapse, infact I can see it only growing stronger over the next few months.
It’s amazing what confidence can do for a team, and when that team has the quality of players we have, and the confidence is brimming, it becomes a unstoppable force, like a tsunami destroying everything in its path! Come on CITY!!!

Exactly this mate. ha! Sad but true.

The league table looks like something you would get in Germany with Bayern crushing everyone in sight. We’ve got United and Chelsea who have spent a lot of money this year and been no where consistent enough to put pressure on us. Then we have the rest of the league who with the tv deals have bigger budgets than most of the teams in the champions league who can buy decent players and only Liverpool, Palace and Everton have taken points off us. All whilst playing the most dominant football I’ve ever seen in this country.

Anyone dismissing this as Pep being a cheque book manager is laughable. Mark Hughes spent a shit load of money and had the likes of Tevez, Adabayor and Robinho and finished mid table. There’s a lot more to it than just simply spending and hoping you finish top.
