No deluded Blues then, eh?! ;-) Well, I mean other than everyone who thinks it’s already over with half the season still to play and neither of our two main midfield creators or forwards going to the injured, etc, etc, etc... Here’s hoping it is as straightforward as everyone seems to think!

I've been giving it the "yeah the leagues over now" to my mates then I'm lay in bed at night and the little city thought devil appears telling me that "if we lose to Liverpool it will only be 10 points and then we could do this and that and De Bruyne and Silva get injured and Pep leaves us and Pearce takes over again and united win every game and and and and! FUCK OFF thought devil!

What a pessimist win our 9 home matches and lose ALL our away games will give us 82 points but with a decent goal difference. Spurs got second with that last year.Sorry, I think this is getting a little ahead of ourselves. We are only in a very good position. Nothing more, nothing less.
The trouble with football is that it never goes the way it is supposed too.
The only thing i'm confident about is how poor the rags really are. They have begged borrowed and stole points.
They have no set style of play and this confuses me, as it does their players!
They do have some quality, and that is snatching some goals. But as they drop points and get knocked out of the cups, they will disintegrate.
Peg's style of management only works if you are winning. He's a busted flush and it's only a matter of time.
So while i'm still keeping my powder dry, i'm pretty pleased with things so far.

i think it will not matter what the points total will be to win the league this season it will be the size of the points gap between 1st and the rest pep would have set a total of around 90 points before the season started and having a mini league of the top 6 each clubs would take points of each other so anything around the 90 mark would have win the league this season
but the gap between manchester city and united is 13 and even bigger with the rest miles away so pep and city will control the points total and its up to the players to keep going the champions league and cups will also control the points total if we are still in them near the end of the season and the rotation of the squad will be key
am going for manchester city to bank 87 points as quickly as possible and win the league by the 33rd game that would mean united would have to get 100 points and that is not going to happen and after that the team would be looking at champions league and fa cup if we are still lucky enough to still be in them the league would be squad rotation

I remember going to old Trafford a few years ago and they had won the league the game before. I think the most they can get is 99. They will drop 9 at least.
