How many points to win the league?

We're likely to set a points record, nevermind just winning the league.

Will any other team break 92? Doubt it.

If you listen to he media the premier league wants it to go tits up for us.

I'm sure they do.

Which is why they will deservedly get us.

This team was previously good enough to win it by double figures but I I don't see it going that way in these last few months.

Maybe eight or nine points, with another three or four losses and a couple draws thrown in.

That’s how I see it. It will be over with games to spare. But those spare games will be used for resting players and experimenting, that’s when the points will start to drop off.

We got a nice cushion though and can afford a couple of defeats.
It means the chasing pack have to win their remaining games and that is unlikely as none of them have put on a run like us.
Throw in our goal difference and we are way out in front.
I think seven wins from the remaining games will see us home.

We have put a degree of unnecessary pressure on ourselves going into the Leicester game.

We don't know how motivated they will be after Mahrez.

Whereas the gap should still be 15 points, a bad result this weekend, could be the difference beyween a ten or 11 point gap, prior to a visit to Arsenal.

That's pressure, regardless of how some would want to frame it.

Agree, get Leicester out of the way with a win and I'll feel a lot happier. We've still got some very tricky games to go, and I'm not as optimistic as some about how many points the red shite will drop. We cannot take anything for granted and I'm sure Pep and the squad know this. Let's start putting these games to bed by converting possession/chances into goals.

If we were 3 pts clear I would still fancy us to win the league.

We have another 10pts on top of that.

I fancy us even more in pressure games and we always come through.
Rags, Chelsea and napoli away we bossed it in difficult surroundings.
This team is a different animal compared to last season, Saturday was one of those days but we always bounce back.
A weeks rest, maybe a few injuries cleared up and we'll be at Leicester from the off.

5 wins secure a champions league place though the way everyone behind us are dropping points will probably be less.

Don't really agree with this. We have an effective four point cushion. If by some chance we lose to Leicester it's still an effective eleven point lead.

If we do win next weekend I'll actually think it's done. We'll have no PL games until the end of the month and by then could have a fully fit squad aside from Sane and Mendy.

If we get to the FA cup final we will have to rearrange both home games against Brighton and Swansea. A fixture pile up could see the title win going down to the later stages of the season.
One game at at time though.
