How was this result on pep ? How many chances did we have yesterday ? Also, Would you rather have players missing from injury for Dortmund?
Too many changes in my view and I think many others (see post match thread) had we had zero games mid week I cannot believe he would have picked that game

The game yesterday felt like the game at the start of the season, slow and predictable

I don’t know what our attempts to goal ratio is but you have no doubt been watching the same games as me and I suggest it’s nowhere near it needs to be

“Keep getting beat”

I’m in tears. This place is hilarious.
The actual quote was "keep getting beat by teams doing the same thing to us"
ie turning over possession and playing in behind our high line. The rags and spuds have done us plenty of times like this through Peps tenure as have the dippers and Leicester and some far lesser teams as well.
But hey ho, to some Pep can never be wrong no matter what.
Anyway it will still take a colossal fuck up to lose the league from here, it won't happen but we could have made it a little easier for ourselves.

This is awful, it reminds me of when Stuart Pearce insisted on playing Samaras in a nothing league game just before the West Ham Cup match. Obviously he got injured, we lost to West Ham and our season was over. It is like Deja Vous all over again, we'll end up with nothing, nothing I tell you.

(sorry just thought I'd join in)

Don’t forget those of us of a certain age, who have witnessed some amazing cock-ups over the intervening years.

I think City fans possibly over 35 suffer from Cityitis and there’s very little can be done to change it, years and years of messing things up will be forever in the memory. I am well over that age and unless they discover a vaccine for it we are stuck. Suggest we try to chill as best we can and take it one game at a time.

Im all seriousness lads. When did we really really f. Up in the last 40 odd years?

We probably shouldn't haven't gone down in 83 or 98 so will give you that. The others were pretty much deserved.

We've been promoted every time we've had important last day games.

We've won 4 title. 3 having to win our last 6, 5 and 14 games.

Won 7 out 8 finals. Will give you Wigan.

We have won 9 semi finals out of 14. Probably the only one we were big favourites and lost was last season against Arsenal.

We don't normally fail when it's a pressure situation. We win.

We will be in same situation next week with mid week PL games against Villa and HUGE CUP FINAL. What should we do REST players again and end up losing?
Yes we will rest players for the Villa game because we will have a 2nd chance in the premier league, the difference is they won't be as wholesale. We could be 5 in front with 5 to go after the Villa games but still favourites to win the league

Ok, we won't get the title for free, that's fine with me. Let's fight for it.
I love tight wins and I can survive tight losses. Winning everything by a country mile is boring to me.

Actually, if we bottle it from here we don't deserve it. That's how I feel.
And I think we WILL win the PL title, also if utd win all 7 - which I don't think they will.
When did united last lose a game

When we lose pep and the lads normally take it personally sort their shit out and go on a run of games not only winning but blowing teams away! Blues chill out ffs. And lurking rags thinking you’re hunting is down keep thinking it it’s only going to hurt more when we lift it again

This team fucked it up massively against Arsenal and Lyon last season tbf, and the first leg of the Spurs CL game the previous year. But generally I agree, we do the business more often than not, the Domestic Quadruple is evidence of that. Though sometimes we do it the hard way like 93:20 and Bradford away
