The cityitis fever is coming out on some of you on here ,you need to chill out & take it one game at a time , don't look to far ahead.
Lets get ready for the dortmund game then go again after that.

If we’d have lost to Leicester and beaten Leeds, would there be the same level of panic? No.

Wednesday will tell us a lot, exorcise some champions league ghosts and the morale from that is likely to take us to a minimum a league and one cup double.

agree, far too easy to start thinking about what ifs. the most important and rational thing to do is look to wednesday and no further

Protect the players fair enough, Dortmund played full strength yesterday and won if they turn us over this week what's the excuse then?

Why is it an excuse? Why do you even feel you need an excuse?

We lost a game of football. One that on another day we could have won. It hasn't put us out of a competition, hasn't put key players who have played a lot of games in a row out of the run-in either.

I agree with you. I’m quite calm, personally, I just don’t mind it when people get worried as it’s just different personality traits coming through.
Don’t forget those of us of a certain age, who have witnessed some amazing cock-ups over the intervening years.

I think City fans possibly over 35 suffer from Cityitis and there’s very little can be done to change it, years and years of messing things up will be forever in the memory. I am well over that age and unless they discover a vaccine for it we are stuck. Suggest we try to chill as best we can and take it one game at a time.

The issue is that yesterday's defeat gives us less flexibility to rotate if we get through on Wednesday.
Hence yesterday's selection was IMO a mistake.
We could have gone with a better side yesterday without tiring key players for Wednesday.
If the next 2 games had been league games then it wouldn't of been such a rotated team. Wednesday is huge with the possibility of extra time & penalties same on Saturday. Once the UCL semis are here the Carabou final will be done & we will know our fate in the fa cup.

Even after the result, I still feel it was the right time to risk a defeat. If we lose on Wednesday, Pep will go full on in the league.
