Now a days people want to save for other things .houses cars ect season tickets come down the list so dont blame people for buying the cheapestHow times change, when I first got my season ticket back in the days it was because I wanted to be sure I could see every game, it wasn't about saving a few pounds.

Yes i agree with you seems barmy to buy season tickets and not bother turning upSorry, saving money was not the point I was trying to make. It appears now we have many season ticket holders who pick and choose the games they want to attend. A big difference from the days I was recalling when most season ticket holders never missed a game.

The club needs to be a bit more cute when distributing these excess tickets. The crowd in that top away end would have filled the empty rows in the east and family stand and it would also be better for atmosphere. I wonder how many tickets went unsold from the planner? People turning up at the ticket office in the days leading up to the match are obviously being sold tickets up there, i suppose it's better to get the cash immediately then knock it off next year's ST , which is wrong imo. $44,000
Was a good crowd tonight. Stoke only brought 1,000 and their seats above in the 3rd tier were full of City.
This game was short notice. Only re-arranged a few days ago.
Perhaps they should either offer a discount if you use your season ticket for, say, 17 games or more or surcharge people who don't attend a significant number of games. Now this is where it's difficult for the club to slash the cost of season cards
If they make them too cheap, supporters (and I use that term loosely) will really pick and choose which matches to attend as it won't cost them that much
