How many times you been Anfield and not seen us win?

I think that was the game where loads turned up late due to roadworks or an acciden
Took some Blues ages to get in.
yes....it was mayhem......cop on horse says to me...you shouldnt have turned up late so it's your fault you're getting crushed...yet they were slow as fuck on the turnstile and stopped letting anyone in at one point.

They should have also had reports of the road issues by their colleagues.

Then she tried making it worse by shoving her horse into us.

I can remember it being akin to a death trap both outside the packed away end AND immediately inside the ground after we had made it in.

I see Everton are on about a new ground,I think they should just just shut the shithole that is Anfield down, how it gets a safety certificate each year I don't know...

That cup night was an absolute disgrace both before and during the game ...the Micah Richards' handball' which sealed our defeat.

I've only seen us win the once there, the Anelka double under Keegan, when Swp was outstanding, iirc.

I've been to Anfield around four times as an away fan in the last 12 years and it's not very often I've seen us come out with a win. I think we find it hard to beat them a lot of the time cos we play such a similar style of football. The difference is, we know how to finish off smaller teams and they don't. Not at the moment, anyway.

Great match that.
Mark Wards penalty when he smashed the ball so hard it nearly took grobbelars face off. ( I think I've got the right match)
Ward was a great penalty taker
It was a great game, I thought the atmosphere in the City end was great and the singing after everyone else had left the ground was amazing, that day will live long in the memory.

Watched us draw there when they were under Rafa, wasn't long after his "money" comment, even though they spent a shit load that season.

Remember diving into a pub near Lime Street and some Bald 40 year old dipper tried starting on my pals and I. Horrible place and horrid fans

I've watched City at Anfield on four occasions since my first visit in 1973 in the FA Cup 4th round. We drew that game, won the replay at Maine Rd in the rain, then lost to Sunderland in the next round in another replay at Roker Park They went on to beat Leeds in the final that year as a second division team, so fair play to them.

As for the rest of the games at Anfield, no, I've never seen us win there. My last visit was in the League Cup semi final about 10 years ago when, was it Petrov, scored a screamer in front of the Kop, and the game was decided by one of the most ridiculous decisions for handball I've ever seen against Micah Richards, and Liverpool were awarded a penalty.

I have seen Liverpool lose at Anfield. It was some time in the mid 80's when two of us were on a business trip in Liverpool to see a client, and on one of the days we were there, they were playing QPR in the league cup semi final.

We stood on the KOP, my colleague was an Everton fan, and I couldn't get my head around the fact he was cheering when LIverpool scored. Anyway, QPR won the game that night and had their trip to Wembley.

Once. Had my car window bricked on way home.. never been back. My wheelchair was clearly visible so the brave idiots knew I couldn't fight back..
