How many trophies will we win?

In fairness, PSG were missing Verratti and Marquinhos (bar the first half an hour of the first leg) for the quarter-finals.

They are a devastating side on the break.

That is true.. but in fairness PSG looked at their most vulnerable over the two legs with Marquinhos on the pitch.. Verratti is a great player.. but I would back our midfield to dominate theirs even with him playing.. for Christ sake the Rags even managed that a few times ;)

If we play “our” game over two legs we will have too much in midfield for them, yes they will break on us and probably score but I just don’t see their defence holding out.. it didn’t against Bayern and Bayern’s defensive set up is a joke compared to ours. Their game is all about attack and losing their key weapon and replacing him with that guy that played for Stoke was always going to fuck them up the arse.

On paper PSG have looked good in this competition but the truth is they lost a few and knocked out an awful Barca side and Bayern minus the guy that scored them 50 goals last season who was replaced by Stokes finest.

It’s flattering on paper, not as impressive when you look at the real situation.
I suggested on another thread that PSG would be a free pass to the final for either ourselves or Dortmund and I stand by that. Their domestic record this season shows that they were defensively poor compared to the other quarter finalists, and were (probably) very lucky not to have faced Lewandowski in either leg against Bayern.

I really fancy our chances against PSG, particularly over two legs. A one-legged final against Chelsea or Real would be a completely different kettle of fish.

I’d love the league cup next week four on the bounce ..? Yes please , the premier league will come to us 100% the ccl is a Brucie bonus.

I voted for PL and LC. I think Chelsea can knock City out of FA Cup with one more day of rest. I don't trust this team to win CL, so Premier League and League Cup IMO.

I don't change my position. Chelsea defeat was predictable, it was practically obvious that they will win with one more day of rest. I naively picked 2-1 for City in line-up prediction contest but in my head Chelsea win was likely.

League plus League Cup would still be 8/10 season. League plus League Cup and UCL 9/10. Just League 6/10. Just League Cup 5/10. Nothing 1/10.

Completely agree fella. I think over two legs we will prove too strong a unit for PSG.. feel people are fearing the Neymar, Mbappe combo too much.. my concern is heartbreak in the final where there is no room for error against either a disciplined side or one that has the nouse at winning that competition.

Win the league and I’ll be ecstatic. Anything else is a bonus.

Agreed. However, I do believe that this is our year in the CL and I’ve never felt it was before. I could also see also see us wining it with a contentious decision. Dunno.. just feels different this year.. like our luck is in!

Spot on. We ain't winning anything else.
My worry is that we will end up like Leeds in the 60''s and 70's , be in with a good shout of winning everything and ending up with nothing. Though even it that does happen I know that 19 other teams and their fans would swap places with us.
However as Ric said the league is the one that matters.
