How many trophies will we win?

There won't be a City fan forecasting that we'll do it: pessimism runs through our DNA like a comb ran through Swales' barnet. I think we have a chance but this end of the season always determines how your season is viewed and with that comes immense pressure. Teams like Bayern and Real don't have it because they've done it again and again. I think we will win a treble but four is unlikely.......but possible!

Premier League = pretty much done.

Carabao = v Spurs, I'm still wary just because they've gatecrashed our ambitons a few times now (Race for 4th place Champs League, and Champs League KO match). Putting form aside, Son & Kane are as dangerous as any.

FA Cup = Again, Chelsea in a one-off can be tricky. But hopefully that big Wembley pitch and us being injury free see's us through to a final that we can defintely win. Take nothing for granted though.

Champs League - Feel we'll get past Dortmund and Bayern might represent a similar issue to Spurs in that a front 3 of Gnabry Sane and Lewandowski will always be dangerous. I'd feel better with Stones/Dias/Laporte as a back 3. But just feel that when we get to a final the mental side of things will strangle us.. We were looking very nervy last night.

We've beaten Spurs plenty of times recently including scoring 5s and 6s. However, apart from when we secured 3rd and Crouch scored an own goal (not sure if we denied them a Champs lge place like they did us the previous season though?) they generally seem to win the 'one offs'. 81 Cup Final and the 'pitch invasion match' in QF in 93 can be added to the list too. Time to start setting the record straight/redressing the balance at Wembley later this month!

Think the last time we played Spurs in a domestic cup match was when we 'didn't turn up' and lost 2:0 in a QF at The Etihad (either under Sven or Hughes ??). Repeat of the 4:3 'epic' would be good, or at least the 2nd half.

Pretty much agree with that

Spurs are a very tricky customer with their front players.

Chelsea and if we get through them then most likely Leicester - two hard games but winable

Champs League....we always look dodgy/nervous.......last night was similar.....Bayern, PSG Madrid all very formidable opponents who could have enough to beat us.....

League is all but sewn up......

League and one cup (unless its the champs league) - is ok

League and 2 domestic cups = a great season

League and 1 domestic and CL = fantastic season

All four - perfect and probably a record that may never be repeated.

After the first leg it’s a predicted City v Real Madrid final

Personally I think we will still have more trouble with BD than PSG. Bayern would be good to avoid.

I just can’t understand why we are the favourites. Imo we are not quite good enough to win the champions league, we lack that world class striker and are a bit too slow in midfield. I think we would really struggle to contain either psg or Bayern on the counter attack as they both look a lot quicker and more powerful than we do.

Not to mention our players look very tense in this competition which leads to uncharacteristic mistakes (see Laporte v spurs, ederson yesterday etc). I am confident we will win it within the next 5 years though. Our time is coming

To win UCL you need a little bit of luck.

I feel this year is ours. In the last couple of years, referees made some mistakes against us (fault on Laporte vs Lyon, a handball from LLorente vs Spurs), but this year the mistakes have been in our favor.

Not only that, but 2-3 years ago, we would have many chances to score the winning goal, and we would fail again and again. Yesterday, we failed some big chances, but we still were able to score a last-minute goal.

Even more, the most difficult team (Bayern) has just lost their first leg.

I really think, for the first time, this is our year.

According to 538, the probability of City winning has gone up from 39% to 42% following Bayern's defeat at home. Bayern's chances have gone down from 15% to 8%.

So many draws ... who do you think we are, Fulham?

Since the last time we actually drew a game we have played 28 games ... and you already know the rest ...

Agree with your second paragraph but not the first. We don’t seem to have the mentality but if we play at our best and believe it we really have nothing to worry about.

We are favourites because we dominate the hardest league in the World to a level rarely seen. However, and it’s been said many times, that counts for nothing if you can’t bring that game to the pitch when it matters most.

Edit: Just watched Bayern v PSG. Rarely have I seen two sides defend so badly. Almost comical.

Because we have the best squad and the best coach.

No need to be afraid of failure in CL. Everyone needs to relish it, rather than fear of being favourites.

City have the 2nd highest wage bill in world football too. We are not plucky underdogs in CL anymore.
